Bridging Loans

Bridging is used as short-term finance for buying and/or refurbishing a property. With LTVs up to 80% and rates from 0.4%, if you are looking for a quick injection of capital, bridging may be right for you.

Bridge To Let Mortgages

Most BTL mortgages won't allow any significant refurbishment and need tenants in situ. If you need to renovate the property and want to save on paperwork and fees, a Bridge To Let may be more appropriate. This is a bridging loan and BTL mortgage rolled into one. 


Buy To Let Mortgages

Property all done up and tenants signed their ASTs? Time to get your equity unlocked with a BTL Term Mortgage. Up to 80% LTV available and Capital Repayment or Interest Only options, providing flexibility to pay off costs incurred or even use to buy the next property.

Semi/Commercial Mortgages

Whether you are looking to buy a new building for your business or want to release equity from your current one, a Commercial Mortgage can help you achieve that. Often with terms up to 25 years and longer fixed interest periods. A Semi-Commercial Mortgage may also be suitable if the property is mixed use between residential and commercial.

Development Finance

Borrowing larger amounts, with the bulk upfront and the rest drawn over the build process? Development Finance is considered short-term lending to help developers with the purchase and build costs of a project. Typically taken as debt, but Finanze can also introduce you to JV and Mezzanine lenders to evaluate all your options. Suitable for residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.

Years of Experience

Alastair first started in property in 2005, setting up an online real estate portal. Having sold the business he moved into investment banking and fund management focussing on the coverage of financial institutions until 2013. Following which he set up a strategic consulting firm, specialising in helping firms scale and raise funds, with a specific emphasis on private equity real estate, along with investing in other businesses. Among these an online to offline full service property agency and a property management software company. He has brought all of this accumulated experience to Finanze which he launched in July 2021.

Alastair's career in finance accelerated quickly. This resulted from his ability to develop a deep understanding of the products and sector, and more importantly develop close relationships with clients through creation of unique customised solutions. This talent was curated further in his time as a strategic consultant to CEOs and Board Directors, advising on complex issues and now that service and dedication is provided to his property clients. With an emphasis on the client's individual circumstances, and a tireless drive to finding the right solution at the right price, clients benefit from a senior finance leader, irrespective of the loan amount.

For a finance broker, lenders are both suppliers and customers. Alastair spends a large amount of time deepening relationships with lenders in order to understand their product offering, gain access to the best rates and terms, and develop tailored "exclusive" and "semi-exclusive" products for his clients.
