We like to get involved as early as possible in a transaction, providing guidance on various products and strategies that could be useful, before helping customers to run comparative analyses on different scenarios. Sometimes the customer will be advised not to invest if the timing isn’t right, or the deal doesn’t make sense given their personal circumstances.
Once the client has found the right property, we will generally review hundreds of different lenders to find the best products for the client’s needs, producing illustrations and then calculating the full true cost of the debt to provide clients with products that will maximize their return on investment.
After selecting the lender, we continue to assist our clients through the application process, liaising with valuers and solicitors to see the projects through to completion.
Each client is unique. They each deserve their own bespoke solution, not just an off-the-peg database driven response.
We focus on building lifelong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted part of their property ‘power team’, adding value in the decision-making process throughout the property lifecycle.
Alastair first started in property in 2005, setting up an online real estate portal. Having sold the business, he moved into investment banking and fund management focusing on the coverage of financial institutions until 2013.
Subsequently he set up a strategic consulting firm, specializing in helping firms scale and raise funds, with a specific emphasis on private equity real estate, along with investing in other businesses. Among these an online to offline full-service property agency and a property management software company.
He has brought this accumulated experience to Finanze, providing institutional grade service to sophisticated private property investors and corporations.
HEAD OF TERM FINANCE
Imogen began working in Mortgages in 2019 after realising, when purchasing her own home, she had no idea how to even begin a mortgage process and who to ask and even after a lot of research on the internet was no wiser. She began working with a local mortgage broker providing tailored advice for high-net-worth clients when purchasing their residential properties. Imogen gained further experience working in the Buy to let and commercial mortgage space learning invaluable information regarding different lenders criteria’s and what boxes they want ticking.
Imogen then moved to Connect Mortgages where she was able to offer advice on all types of mortgages. She was therefore able to combine her skills to offer her clients the full service, taking into account their entire portfolios including any residential properties, in order to provide a tailored solution for their needs. She brings all of this experience to Finanze.
There will be a fee for mortgage advice, the precise amount will depend upon your circumstances. Your Consultant will confirm the amount before you choose to proceed but we estimate it to be £199 on application and 0.5% of the gross loan value on offer.
We are a credit broker and not a lender. We have access to an extensive range of lenders. Once we have assessed your needs, we will recommend a lender(s) that provides suitable products to meet your personal circumstances and requirements, though you are not obliged to take our advice or recommendation.
Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will typically receive commission from them after completion of the transaction. The amount of commission we receive will normally be a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow from the lender.
Commission paid to us may vary in amount depending on the lender and product. The lenders we work with pay commission at different rates. However, the amount of commission that we receive from a lender does not have an effect on the amount that you pay to that lender under your credit agreement.
